On Dec 24th we flew threw Philadelphia only to have US Air lose are bags for 4 days. We finally received our bags on Monday night the 27th. Only to turn around and have to fly US Air at 4am the next morning back through Philly. And did our bags show up in SF....of course not. So here we are back home and we still don't have our bags. Plus we tried to pack smart this time and put everything we would need when we arrived home in our carry on's. But the arry on room was full so they made us check our carry on's at the gate!!
Now I understand that mistakes can happpen but what really pisses me off is that no one over at US Air seems to give a shit. We talk to them and they seem to appear it is our fault & our problem. When I called on Monday cause we still had not recieved our bags and we were leaving the next morning the US Air lady total us that it was not thier problem and my parents would have to ship us our bags!! They eached weighted around 50 pounds. Wonder what UPS would have cost? Then on thier web site it says we can bring receipts to the local baggage counter and they will ocver supplies we need while our bags were lost. Yet when we do that they tell us we can not do that and we have to mail them in. Also there web sites says they will deliever travel vouchers with and bags lost for more than 24 hours. Did we get one? NO. Not that I would want one from US Air since I will never fly them again.
