Gettin' Ready

Woke & drove to IN. We were late as always, but the time changed helped us to arrive close to show time. We grabbed a spot at Sleepy Bear for $150 for the 3 of us. We paid too much but it is close, shady & a lot quieter then the other campgrounds. After setting up we hear Particle start to play. We bust a move over to the show. Get in and everyone is sitting down & Particle is doing there thing. (Which is high energy dance music.) The 3 of us dance (since I could not imagine sitting during a Particle set and soon others are dancing as well. Good set. Cool to see these guys throw down even when the crowd is so mellow. After the set we go & chat with the band. I tell Darren the Hampton story. He seems to get a kick out of it. We ask for some promo material & holly gets some e-mail address for them. They give her a T-shirt and a couple of CD's that we kick down to Dusty & Julie & Matthew. We watch Keller for awhile than head to the car since we are so hungry. We kick it outside for awhile, sell a few beers and then to bed early for tomorrow is the beginning of the last Deer Creek Phish run.
