Not feeling the feeling I fogot

Woke in Del. Went to Philly for Beer. 12 cases. Surprised to see they had Magic Hat down here. Drove to NJ. Got a room and then headed to the venue. Got lost in Brooklyn. Can't imagine living here. We got into the lot around 2:30. The parking lot is small and right next to the venue. A prime spot to vend. Meet up with M on lot. Good to see him. We sell all 12 cases of beer before the show. Holly went in around 5:30 to grab us seats and I stayed out and sold beer. It rained for awhile and after the rain I was able to sell beer as quick as I could get them out of the cooler. Went into the show when I sold out around 7.

6-17-04 Set I
The Song I Heard the Ocean Sing - New song. Never really got focused on this song mentally. Being back on Phish tour and in a Phish show again. This show had a very strange feel to it for me. Nor sure if it was because it was a new venue (and techinally a stadium show) or the simocast or since I know this is one of the last Phish shows I will every see. For whatever reason it just did not feel like a Phish show. I can't exactly say why. Maybe it is that all my thoughts are so heavy and serious. There is this pressure to try and capture this moment, to remember all the details for soon this will be gone. This very idea is very different from my normal Phish show mentality which is to be completely sucked into the moment.
Dinner & A Movie & the curtain With - Couple of nice bustouts. Dinner and movie brought a laugh since the simocast.
Sample - Really liked it for the first time in years. Clearly one of those cherish every moment aspect of this show.
Maze - Start to rain. Lots of peaks that seem to time well with the rain how hard the rain was falling. Holly left to go under some shelter and I just danced in the rain.

Meet Holly under the shelter for set break and decided to spend the 2nd set here.

Set II
46 Days - Long. Very nice improvision here.
Suzy & Suzy Jam - Highlight of the show. Starts as standard Suzy Jam but quickly leaves theme and covers a lot of different themes before ending.
Weekapaug & Divided Sky - Trey is off on the timing during both these songs. A low point to end a fairly solid show.

M, Holly & I drive back to the room and crash around 2am. This tour is going to be hard. I may have held back tonight because of the emotions attached to it all. I am going to try & put it all aside tomorrow & just go and enjoy my 179 show.
