Over the next few weeks I will be on the road for Bonnaroo & Phish Summer tour. I am planning to keep a journal of this since it is the first leg of the last summer tour. When I get back I will enter these here dating them to the date they were written for. I am excited to see how these entries will come out. I will also be adding pictures to approriate entries as well. So here begins my Phish Summer Tour Journal 2004!
Backround information. I saw my first Phish show in 1994. I had at this time spend a good deal of time on Grateful Dead tour. After Jerry's death in 1995, I started to tour with Phish. I did all of the 1995 Fall & New Years run. I did all of Summer 1996 tour before settling down in San Francisco. Since then I have caught between 15-20 shows a year. I saw them in Japan in 2000 & have only missed one show since they returned from the Hiatus at the end of 2002. When Phish is all said and done, I will have seen 191 Phish shows.
I say all of this because I think to truely understand a persons point of view you must understand the experiences that shape ones past.
